Health Guarantee

All of our puppies will come with a 1 year written health guarantee that will be attached to their contracts. Puppies that are not altered at 8 months of age will NOT have a health guarantee and any health guarantee signed will not be honored by the breeder. 

Statement of alter must be provided to the breeder.

As the breeder, I certify that the puppy is to the best of my knowledge, healthy, has been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, & de-wormed as per the health record provided to the buyer. Any issues found by my vet will be noted on said pups health record. Anything significant found by my vet prior to purchase will be discussed with the interested parties (buyers).

1.  The puppy is guaranteed for the first one full year to be free of any life-threatening genetic defect. This is limited to genetic issues that are beyond the control of the breeder such as heart, liver, kidney, or any other major organ system issues.

If within the first year, the puppy is diagnosed with a life threatening issue, such as those mentioned above, the breeder agrees upon the provision of veterinary reports and receipts to provide the purchaser with another puppy of equal value. A cash refund will not be provided. In the event that no puppies are available, the buyer will be added to the next available waitlist/litter. The defected puppy must be first returned to the breeder (at buyers expense) in order for the guarantee to move forward, along with any/all vet documents regarding the defected puppy.

In the event that the puppy has died, a clearly written/printed statement from the buyers veterinarian will be required stating cause of death to ensure it falls in line with our health guarantee.

2.  The buyer is to arrange a check up with a licensed veterinarian within the first 24 hours of taking possession of the puppy. Failure to have the puppy checked by your vet within the first 24 hours will result in the health guarantee becoming voided. The breeder is to be notified immediately - same day if the veterinarian determines the puppy is not fit for sale. 

The health guarantee does not cover any preventable problems that are beyond the control of the breeder while in buyers care; these might include heat stroke, hypoglycemia, exhaustion, stress, poisoning, accidents, insect stings, fleas/ticks, abuse or neglect, & so forth.

3.  The guarantee does not cover medical issues relating to spay/neuter or failing to spay/neuter, such as pyometra. The guarantee does not cover over/under bites + dental, hernias of any kind, luxating patella, collapsed trachea, etc. 

The guarantee does not cover accident or any illness while in the buyers care.

In the event of ownership change, our health guarantee will not follow. 

Buyers must purchase directly from us in order for our health guarantee to be valid.
